Keep It Dry Water and moisture are the natural enemies of 18k gold-plated copper and 925 sterling silver. To prevent early oxidisation or tarnishing, always remove your jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming, or partaking in rigorous exercise.
Avoid Perfumes & Cosmetics Chemicals found in everyday cosmetics can quickly dull the shine of pearls and tarnish metal plating. Always apply your lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays completely, and allow them to dry fully before putting on your jewellery as the final touch to your outfit.
Safe Storage When you are not wearing your pieces, store them securely in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. We highly recommend keeping them inside your original Flaner Boutique presentation box or a soft-lined travel case to prevent accidental scratching and exposure to humid air.
Gentle Cleaning After taking off your jewellery at the end of the day, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove any natural skin oils or makeup residue. Please never use harsh liquid jewellery dips or abrasive chemical cleaners on your plated pieces.
Sleeping We advise removing all earrings, necklaces, and rings before sleeping to prevent accidental pulling, bending, or damage to the delicate chains and posts.
